Lung Cancer and COVID-19 in the African American Community

During the 2020 International Lung Cancer Survivorship Conference, LUNGevity Foundation’s Chief Health Equity and Diversity Officer, Jeanne Regnante, hosted a lively program moderated by patient advocate Nichelle Stigger, who was joined by expert panelists Robert Winn, MD (VCU Massey Cancer Center), and Karriem Watson, DHS, MS, MPH (University of Illinois Cancer Center).

Leaders discussed the challenges and possible solutions of lung cancer and COVID-19 in African American communities. Lung cancer patients and caregivers had the opportunity to speak directly with these experts to share what was important to them.
