LUNGevity is committed to providing accurate, up-to-date information on the COVID-19 pandemic and how it affects people with lung cancer as soon as it becomes available. We are working closely with our Scientific Advisory Board, composed of experts in the lung cancer field, and other lung cancer-focused nonprofits to provide information specific to people affected by lung cancer.
Weekly Updates: The global oncology community is working together to ensure that lung cancer patients continue to get the best care possible. Learn about the recommendations these groups are making to help patients have access to care and avoid exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
Public Policy: LUNGevity has also been active in working to shape public policy in this unprecedented situation. In conjunction with other disease-focused nonprofits, we have signed on to several letters to Congress and state officials laying out the unique needs of our at-risk patient population and asking for solutions. View the letters in the COVID-19 section of our Comment & Sign-On Letters page.
