LUNGevity’s COPE Summit is a full-day summit designed by and for caregivers at all stages. The COPE Summit is one of three simultaneous summits held as part of LUNGevity’s International Lung Cancer Survivorship Conference in Washington, DC, each spring.
The COPE Summit includes sessions for both new and experienced caregivers. Sessions may include panel discussions moderated by oncology navigators, peer-to-peer Q&As, and expert-led sessions on topics important to caregiving. The separate summit gives caregivers the opportunity to be more open in their sessions and is a powerful day of community for caregivers.
Caregiving is something that should not be faced alone … I’ve learned more here than I could’ve learned in any book or manual or tip sheet. To find out that LUNGevity cares about the caregivers is refreshing among other resources I have found. If you have a need, LUNGevity will meet it. If you’re a caregiver with a need, other caregivers are here, and this is the place to meet them.
