HOPE Summit is amazing and inspiring! Everything that LUNGevity does is to lift us up and inspire us as survivors. They do their jobs so well.
-Jessica Steinberg, stage IV ALK
At HOPE Summits, participants learn, collaborate, advocate, and use their voices and stories to make a difference in the fight against lung cancer. The summits feature inspirational speakers, medical expert forums, lung cancer survivor-specific sessions, and opportunities for lung cancer survivors to connect with other survivors and share their stories with the public and the media. There are sessions for survivors in active treatment and others for those out of treatment to address their specific needs.
HOPE Summits are free to attend; however, for the National HOPE Summit, held in Washington, DC, in May each year, there is a registration fee of $50, which includes 2½ days of sessions, materials, and meals. If you are a first-time survivor participant, you may apply for a travel grant to Washington, DC. You can also join the Survivor’s Challenge: raise $1000 or more, and we’ll reward you with an all-expenses-paid trip to the National Summit, including airfare, a two-night hotel stay, and ground transportation.
